bigblaster:grabarkewitz:kennerbuggy:WickedCurves:kennerbuggy:The Gnats have come back to hang a 3-spot on King Felix to take the lead over the M's. Meanwhile, the Cubbies have finally gotten a couple of hits, but have fallen behind the Putrids, 3-0. The Snakes lead the A's 1-0 thru 5.
The "weak" NL West clubs seem to be doing well this weekend against teams from other divisions.
I don't dislike the Cubs but I have the most obnoxious Cubbie fan friend who loves to bash the Blue for no good reason, so I relish a Chicago loss. Thankfully, they offer up a lot of 'em.

Same goes for the M's (obnoxious friend who loves to talk crap about the Dodgers and the NL West), who are actually the AL team I root for, whenever I remember the AL exists.
The experts pretty much handed the NL Central to the Cubbies this season, but things haven't fallen out well for them. However, the Cards and Brew-hahs get credit for outplaying the Cubbies, while we get marked down for beating NL West clubs like the Putrids, who may be as good as the Cubbies, in fact.
I am still waiting for the idjits to give the Dodgers some credit for being a very good team. Each time one of these wonks says something about the Blue, it is prefaced by they play in the weak NL West. Some kind of weak, the division seems to be holding it's own against the AL.
Refresh my memory: How have they been doing against the godlike NL East?
IIRC, we are 7-2 versus the NL East. You won't hear that at ESPN, that is for sure.
I'll play the radio on Southern stations because Southern Belles are Hell at night...grabarkewitz:bigblaster:grabarkewitz:kennerbuggy:WickedCurves:kennerbuggy:The Gnats have come back to hang a 3-spot on King Felix to take the lead over the M's. No - the Fish were slumping, the Mess were injured and playing bad D, and the Phillies were having bullpen issues. No mention of the Dodgers NOT having such probelms and being the better team. That's not possible, because we miss Manny so much.
Every silver lining has a cloud. You never hear the Dodgers mentioned on NY radio without the obligatory follow up line: but they play in the HORRIBLE NL West.
Rut roh
The Easternmost in Quality...the Westernmost in Flavor!!This is bad. Runners at the corners, no outs.
I'll play the radio on Southern stations because Southern Belles are Hell at night...Oops - the Fish have now fallen victim to the dreaded 3-run HR, falling behind 3-1 to the A's in the 6th.

I'll play the radio on Southern stations because Southern Belles are Hell at night...Billz has only walked one, but he has been very hittable. He wasn't sharp in his previous game either.
Every silver lining has a cloud.bigblaster:Bullpen, Joe?
Gotta think that Tron and Leach can go long, but let's hope we don't have to see Wade or Mota.

Joe probably wants Billz to hit for himself if his position bats in the bottom of the 6th. That way he can pull him after a batter or two in the top of the 7th.
Every silver lining has a cloud.Quite a battle with Aybar.
