    Since I could only make it through the top of the first with the Rox announcers on MLBEI, can somebody give me an update on why Furcal is not playing. He's been hurting us, but we all know Castro is a late inning def. replacement, so it's odd he's starting two days in a row. Don't tell me Raffy's back stiffened up in the cool weather.

    Yeah, and those red caps are horrible. What must the Big Dodger in the Sky be thinking?

    They used to be blue (I have one and wore it all day today) and those looked cool. These red ones are a bit overwhelming (the Reds, Cards, Phillies and Angels would all be fine). Better get used to them. Vin says they'll be wearing them July 4 and September 11, too.

    He mentioned that at the start of the game and said Torre downplayed the concern. Torre downplays all concerns, so I don't know how to take that.

    Question on April 6, 2009: What are the three things that could derail the Dodgers from certain success?
    1) Manny spending significant time on the DL
    2) Furcal's back repeating history
    3) The pitching staff faltering

    First one essentially happened. We're staring at the possibility of the second. As for the third, what a nice surprise.
