I went to B-R too, but it definitely said 57. Did you guys just go to his page and subtract non-Dodger seasons? I went to the play index and inserted "most stolen bases by a Dodger catcher", so I bet he got 2 with LA while not in as catcher. He did play a few games at 1B and OF.

Man, Morgan just doesn't listen to anyone else's point. Phillips has a good point - financial flexibility brought to the Cubs by letting DeRosa and Jason Marquis go, so that they can get Bradley. Morgan is such a tool for not understanding, or at the very least, acknowledging it. Now Miller shows he clearly doesn't understand baseball finances, either, taking Morgan's side.

Ah - yeah, I just went to BR, and looked up Roseboro's numbers. Didn't consider him playing games at 1B of in the OF.
So one more for Russ to tie the record, in 3.5 full seasons. Nice.

And, barring something unexpected, he's going to shatter the record. I mean, his lead to Roseboro will look like the lead Rickey Henderson has on Lou Brock in all-time SB's.
