Welp, no game today, and the server is kick-ass enough to have some fun.
Anyone familiar with the Konami Code? Sure you are. There's a whole trend going on, where website extras are enabled by typing the code on a site.
So get to typing! I promise full, unadulterated enjoyment, or your money back. You don't have to type it in anywhere special, just start hitting some keys.
doctyper.comTook me a few minutes, I had to find out what the Konami Code was (I'm not a gamer in the least). Then I had to turn off the "Quick Find" bar. Yes, it was a most interesting Easter Egg.
"I know, everybody funny, now you funny too."I love it. Herself hates it. But, we don't count the opinion of a person who watches the View.
I'll play the radio on Southern stations because Southern Belles are Hell at night...grabarkewitz:I love it. Herself hates it. But, we don't count the opinion of a person who watches the View.
Hahah what is there to hate? I love it too.
I rather enjoyed that...I didn't even have to look the code up as that and several other nintendo codes are still permanently stuck in my head. Ahhhh, the countless hours of my youth spent with Contra and that code. If anyone needs the code to cut straight to Tyson on Mike Tyson's Punch Out or needs to know where anything is on the original Legend of Zelda, let me know.
Very sweet.
The Easternmost in Quality...the Westernmost in Flavor!!Oh that's WAY too much effort for me, sorry. I'd have to look up some code, then figure out what to do with it. Ain't gonna happen. I will have to live without knowing the contents of the Easter Egg.

But not too much effort to tell us that, I see.
Also, the video is different every time, so be sure to type it in once in a while for a daily dose.

This reminded me of the scene in "A Christmas Story" when Ralph has just used his "Little Orphan Annie Secret Decoder Pen" to decrypt a message from Annie, which turned out to be "Be sure to drink your Ovaltine."
Geez, tough crowd. Sorry my easter egg wasn't good enough for you.
doctyper:Geez, tough crowd. Sorry my easter egg wasn't good enough for you.
Hey, I loved it.

Thanks, Greg. I am already in deep here. Seems I forgot to make nice with the ice pack for her hand. Hell hath no fury like a woman in pain.
I'll play the radio on Southern stations because Southern Belles are Hell at night...So where else can one use this magic code? Does it work on a wii for anything?
BlueMamma:So where else can one use this magic code? Does it work on a wii for anything?
I am completely ignorant about Wii, but Doc included a link in the first post to a site with a big list of places where the code does something.
To save you the trouble of going back, it's here:

Note: you have to type the code to get into the site.
