beefchopper:After I moaned about Milton he did settle down and pitch a couple of good innings.
You should have moaned before Griffey's blast.

LOL
Oh man, I just saw the news about Belasario's DUI. What a stupid move.
Vinnie:
doctyper.comFelix Hernandez, just sailing along. His earned run average on the road: 1.9. Right behind Roy Halladay and Edwin Jackson. Yes, Edwin Jackson, That Edwin Jackson.

Belisario is claiming he passed the sobriety test and that he was busted for driving and talking on his cel phone at the same time, which is against the law in this lovely state. I hope this isn't like Mota's stupid move, some years ago.
I'll play the radio on Southern stations because Southern Belles are Hell at night...grabarkewitz:Belisario is claiming he passed the sobriety test and that he was busted for driving and talking on his cel phone at the same time, which is against the law in this lovely state. I hope that's true. Thanks.
Not a great game for the Blue. King Felix was just outstanding. You can bitch and moan about the lack of offense, but when a pitcher is on like that, there's really not much you can do but tip your hat.
Milton started out looking pretty good. Then he gave up a few hits and the bomb to Griffey, and it's easu to start questioning whther or not he's the guy for the 5th spot in the rotation. Think about this though: he struck out 7, and didn't walk any in his 5 innings. Yeah, he gave up 5 hits, but it seems he was around the plate. I think it may be that he was just a little rusty, coming off the DL. I've got no problem with giving him another start or 2.
Maybe I'm getting old or something, but it just doesn't seem as special or all that much fun to take in a game at the stadium. It started in the parking lot when this guy opens his door into the side of my truck, not once, but twice. While I'm sitting in it, and looks at me as if to ask, "whaddareyougonnadoaboutitmotherfucker?" I offered to rearrange his facial features into a shape that his mother wouldn't recognize, but both Becky and the idiot's wife kept their collective cool, so me and the idiot gave each other "the look", went our seperate ways, and we went into the stadium. I dunno, the whole being at a live Dodger game at Our Lady of Elysian Park just doesn't seem like that great of an experience any more. It's become this event where the actual game is of little importance. There are just too many distractions during the game, and I just don't think the stadium experience is for somebody who actually wants to watch the freaking game anymore. Maybe that's why I've been going to fewer and fewer games over the last several years. Okay, I'm done ranting.
