Ugh,Hudson and Ethier in the same game?
Mike Scioscia's tragic illness - the blog! For Dodger analysis, reviews, and hilarity. Now Ethier just killed his right knee by fouling it off of himself. He's staying in, however. I'm having visions of Eyechart.
America's Camping DirectoryHe then singles up the middle.
America's Camping DirectoryWould the real Dodgers offense please report immediately to: 1000 Elysian Park Ave. LA, CA 90090!
America's Camping DirectoryLoney jams himself for the third time.
Re the blackout rules. When I lived in the NC mountains, it was a five hour drive to Atlanta and longer to Cincinnati, yet we were blacked out on MLB EI for both locales. Now, I'm an hour from Houston and three from DFW, and the same applies. Road and home, it doesn't matte.

Yep. It's completely ridiculous, but it doesn't matter where the team is playing.
Here's a map of the blackout areas, which in some cases are completely INSANE.

Fortunately, there's been rumblings of changes, and the Yankees & Padres have recently reached deals to allow MLB.tv to be broadcast in their home markets.

Scully just recommended it -- Jr. Dodgers.... probably better than Adult Astros.
America's Camping DirectoryWalk Manny when he has only 2 hits in four games thus far.
Bison!!
That's the big boy we were used to!
Gurnick reports that O-Dog's injury is NOT serious and he's day-to-day.

That's great news. Ortiz was all over the bag on that play, and O was being a nice guy. He should have run up his ass, if Ortiz can't cover first base any smoother than that. Of course, the 'stros might want to work on PFP when they get back to Houston. In the seventh inning, Arias dropped a perfect feed from the first baseman and then dropped Furcal's slow roller trying to go home.
Anyway, great game and another needed W. After losing the first two, coming back for a split is a real postive, compared to losing three out of four out of the gate after the AS game.
Kemp and Ausmus were super. The Big Good Jon showed up and was on his game, just like we expect.
I would be remiss if not offering kudos to the rest of the bullpen. Mota pitched two sparkling innings, despite getting squeezed on a couple of calls by the plate ump, who by the way was extremely inconsistent. Good job by Troncoso, too, and he was rewarded with the W.
