When did we start scouting the Amish leagues?

It seems that Elbert was sent to Albuquerque and Milton went to the 60 Day DL to make room for Schmidt.

I am watching live from Gnat country - f'ing Kuip is raving about the control from the latest Gnat RP in this bloodbath.

They just took Rowand out with an injury to his throwing arm.

It looks like the Gnats will continue their futility on the road, as Kuip's latest fave gives up another run, for an 10-3 lead - but of course Kuip raves about one of their so-so OFs keeping the 2nd run from scoring..............until just now on a sac fly. 11-3.

Every silver lining has a cloud.

I think we signed him long ago, but it took years for him to get here by horse & buggy.

Lessee how long before Elbert returns.

Jason Schmidt just gave up a triple, nearly a homer, to the worst hitter in baseball.

    Yeeeesh.

    Mike Scioscias tragic illness:

Schmidt's FB is only in the 85-87 MPH range so far.

I thought he was featuring the changeup::wink:

Right now my biggest hope is that Schmidt just gets an out, so his ERA won't be infinity for the season.
