I was thinking of that. Has a measurement been announced? That thing was definitely farther than the Holliday one and I believe the measurement for that one was close to 500 FT., if I remember.

I wouldn't get too excited, Torg. Haeger himself says it's taken a LONG time to get his knuckleball to the level it is currently. And the league hasn't yet had a chance to adjust to him. Let's see how they make adjustments, then see how he re-adjusts. Always an interesting part of the Show.

I always keep in mind that the knuckleball is never the same and as long as he can keep it near the strike zone, he will be difficult to hit. The only reason that any knuckleballer struggles is bases on balls. Look at Niekro's career, he was good for over a hundred walks every year. If Haeger can find the control that Wakefield has, I would be very pleased. After all, there aren't many for this generation of hitters to compare Haeger to.
