Time for a Sweep. Go Blue.
Thought I start today's game and hopefully continue until Sunday, at least.
Though I will say that win or lose, it is still important to remember the events from 8 years ago. Somethings in life are more important than the result of any game or games.
Vicente Padilla sighting at Las Tinajas restaurant in San Francisco. (A Nicaraguan place). My wife called me and told me he was there. She approached him while he was waiting for his meal. Don't have many details, but she said he was a jerk. (No real surprise there).
James McDonald was there too with a hottie.
This place is in the Mission District, pretty lousy area of town, but the food is the best.
I had tickets to tonights game, but gave them to my son and his girlfriend. I'll enjoy it in the comfort of home with the sound off so I don't have to listen to Krukow and Kuiper.
I've got tickets for tomorrow. Any word if the Gnats juggled their rotation and have Lincecum going tomorrow?
Last I saw on the scroll on MLB Network was that Lincecum was trying to make it back for Monday's game against the Rockies.

May he feel at his absolute best that day!

Did he throw anything at her?
Poor fella, he has no ideaocmike24:Did he throw anything at her?
Got the details. No, he didn't throw a plate of food at her or anything. Too bad, that would have made some good theatre. She said he was just arrogant and wouldn't look up at her when she spoke to him. That in itself is kind of surprising because she is quite a looker. A genuine Nicaraguan babe. Maybe he just wanted some privacy and was angry he was recognized and approached. She is a very talkative, personable person. A few years back when Lima was with the club, ol' Mr. Herpes made a pass at her.
She ran into Bonds at work too. And that is a story that deserves its own thread.

Unfortunate to hear about Padilla, but not surprising in the least. Oh well, your wife is with the better Vicente, anyways. But you say she ran into Bonds*... and you haven't started a thread?! For the love of all things holy, what are you waiting for?!
Mike Scioscia's tragic illness - the blog! For Dodger analysis, reviews, and hilarity.MLB/ei isn't showing it at all tonight.
Good thing MLBN is. Vasgersian and Hurdle doing the PBP, but I'll take anybody over the Jintiots.
The Easternmost in Quality...the Westernmost in Flavor!!Gotta say. Nice grab of Raffy's little dunk for the 1st out.

I wish they would have went with that version. I love the sentiment, but the red just doesn't work.

A lot better, right now, Greg! How about yourself?
Mike Scioscia's tragic illness - the blog! For Dodger analysis, reviews, and hilarity.Loney is definitely hitting the ball better than he has all year. Significantly better. There's actually some power coming out of that bat.

Stress of transfer search is eating at me, but I'll live.
The Easternmost in Quality...the Westernmost in Flavor!!I can't resist. Had to turn up the volume to hear Krukow whine.
My Jintfan cousin is at the game tonight. Hopefully, it'll be a long one for her.
The Easternmost in Quality...the Westernmost in Flavor!!So, I was having an interesting discussion right now with my good friend, who's a Yankees fan. We were talking about Jeter who, if you didn't know, passed up Lou Gehrig tonight and became the all-time hits leader in Yankees' history.
We're talking and we're discussing the career of Jeter, etc., and then I asked him that, if he had to put together a Mt. Rushmore of the Yankees, who would it be? So, as you can guess, I want to ask you guys to do that for the Dodgers. Thought of starting a thread on this, but probably not thread worthy...
So, the Dodgers decide to put a Mt. Rushmore like thing in the hills behind Dodger Stadium. You only have four people that you can use and they have to represent the best of the best when it comes to the Dodgers. Four people that represent everything great about this organization. Now they can be anyone within the organization and there's no time limit.
Who do you pick?
Mike Scioscia's tragic illness - the blog! For Dodger analysis, reviews, and hilarity.Koufax, Vinnie, Fernando, Tomko.
The Easternmost in Quality...the Westernmost in Flavor!!Now, seriously, Jackie, Koufax, Vinnie, Fernando.
