Okay, game 2 of the sweep.
The star of the game, I predict will be Matt Kemp.
Philly and St. Louis both blew leads in the 9th inning and lost today. With a win tonight, we will go 1 game up on the Redbirds for best record in the NL.
"I know, everybody funny, now you funny too."It is sort of a Catch 22 but I think if the Dodgers take a lead against the Giants, it may actually take pressure off the scoreboard watching Rockies rather than putting pressure on them. I say that because if we beat the Gints the Rockies are more assured of winning the wild card. As for the division, it would be pure gravy for them to win it as nobody expects it. I doubt they feel any pressure at all relative to the Dodgers while I have no doubt the dodgers are hearing footsteps.
We'll just have to keep winning and try to forget the Rocks.

Russell rounded second and was coming to third, but Bowa held Blake up. They got Russ started in a rundown, then Blake broke for home and was thrown out.

Bowker has a pretty good arm and he was playing pretty shallow. Of course, Bowker overran the ball, so this could also be on Bowa.
