The Dodgers already have a 4-0 lead, thanks to consecutive singles by Furcal, Ethier, and Ramírez for one run, followed by a three-run homer by Kemp!

Here are the starting lineups (from MLB Gameday):

    Dodgers
    Furcal, SS
    Ethier, RF
    Ramírez, LF
    Kemp, CF
    Loney, 1B
    Belliard, 2B
    DeWitt, 3B
    Martin, C
    Padilla, P

    Nationals
    Harris, CF
    Desmond, SS
    Dunn, 1B
    Zimmerman, 3B
    Willingham, LF
    Dukes, RF
    González, 2B
    Burke, C
    Martin, P

I believe given that Harpo started the thread yesterday, in which we lost, for the sake of the mojo, we need to go back on track and have someone else start another thread. Unfortunately, I'm out the door, right now, but if someone else could, that'd be great!

Well, but during our little mini-win streak, we had someone different starting every day, so maybe having someone start two in a row is what we need to get back on track. I dunno...

Meanwhile, here in the 6th, I notice nobody is actually using the game thread to discuss the game. 6-4, Dodgers and they're threatening again with Furcal on 2nd, 1 out and A.God at the plate.

Bottom of the ninth, Dodgers leading 7-6, and Full-Pack is coming in to face the heart of the Nationals' lineup – Dunn, Zimmerman and Willingham.

    Is anybody else nervous?

    You bet.

I got anxious when Sherrill walked the hitter two before Dunn last inning, and really squirmed when that guy stole 2B and tried to come home on a single. Great play by Andre to get him.

But this and the last game with the Nats have been WAY too close.

Every silver lining has a cloud.

5-3 San Diego, but the Rockies got jobbed. Hundley stole 2nd and was clearly out, but was called safe and just scored. Oh, well!

I watched the last two innings. What happened to Furcal? He is a freakin' beast. Broxton getting a three-out save without a single strikeout? Wow.
