grabarkewitz:That was beautiful.
As opposed to what this act in PGH obviously is. You know it must be bad when Billy is up in the pen.
Poor fella, he has no ideaWTF! I turn my head for five minutes and the Bums have ALREADY given up on this game?
I mean come on guys, the season's not over yet.
www.shmolnick.comRusty strikes out Doumit. Die Getback!
I'll play the radio on Southern stations because Southern Belles are Hell at night...And why is Mark Loretta even ON this team?

I hope we are just sleepwalking and Bowa or somebody wakes up the boys.
I'll play the radio on Southern stations because Southern Belles are Hell at night...Loretta better not be on the playoff roster. Belliard fills the spot he had the first 5 months, Castro is a better defensive player, and I'd rather have either Eye Chart for a extra bat, or Repko for legs for the 25th spot.
Now that Manny is finally signed, lets get Pierre off the teamgrabarkewitz:5-0, Jones lines a single past Loney. This is a fucking joke. Five unearned runs on one stupid error. Pirates make two and we run into outs like a little league team.
Jones steals second. Now, they are just making fun of us.
They may be "unearned" but Rusty is still getting hit.
Another youth baseball story. We had a coach in the LL that thought his son was WAYYYYYYYYY better than he actually was (imagine that).
So one game his kid gets 2 outs in an inning, then an error puts a runner on. Kid proceeded to give up 12 runs on 13, yes THIRTEEN straight hits. After the debacle dad kept insisting the kid didn't really get bombed because the runs were "unearned".
Poor fella, he has no ideathis game is too ugly to be.
So, I just wake up and we're already down 5-0?! And what the hell, Torre? I don't know, how about you clinch the damn division first before you start putting out your Tracy lineups?
Mike Scioscia's tragic illness - the blog! For Dodger analysis, reviews, and hilarity.Well... we always wanted to see Andy LaRoche homer, right?
Mike Scioscia's tragic illness - the blog! For Dodger analysis, reviews, and hilarity.Guess I don't need to sneak out for an early lunch to watch the end of this debacle. All this lineup is missing is Jason Phillips.
Poor fella, he has no ideaWell back to work, no reason to try to "watch" this mess on Gameday while working. Just have to hope Phils lose later tonight to keep the HFA at 2 and a half
Now that Manny is finally signed, lets get Pierre off the teamman. when will it be over?
i'm looking at the silver lining in this.

I'll be at that game tonight. Let you know.
The Easternmost in Quality...the Westernmost in Flavor!!The good thing, if you want to call it that, is that I'm getting a lot of stuff done while generally ignoring this crap game. Have somebody to ship my car lined up and I'm getting quotes on movers.
The Easternmost in Quality...the Westernmost in Flavor!!So an infrequent visitor comes on yesterday before the game and rips the way we conduct game threads, as well as claiming that there is no mojo in the game thread starters.
Look what's happened since then.
I'm just sayin'.
Poor fella, he has no ideaAnd now Haeger takes one off the leg and has to leave. Fantastic.
Mike Scioscia's tragic illness - the blog! For Dodger analysis, reviews, and hilarity.Sheesh . . . . We suck...

Yeah, but I took it with a grain of salt. Hit and run complaints aren't worth the bandwidth they use. That said, I wish Aarlan the best and hope his surgery goes well.
Like just about any forum with some freedom, the game threads have taken on the tone of the personalities of those who participate the most. The only way they change is if those with a different tone come in and become the dominant force on the threads. Like that will happen, bwaaaaahaaaaahaaaaa!
"I know, everybody funny, now you funny too."hunteralan:Sheesh . . . . We suck...
I don't think we're good enough to suck.

I'm actually getting some work done. At work. I mean, a little bit of work. Done.
"I know, everybody funny, now you funny too."Whose idea was it to start Loretta and what should his punishment be?
www.shmolnick.comshmolnick:Whose idea was it to start Loretta and what should his punishment be?
Seriously. I get that Blake and Belliard are both nursing hammy issues, but how is this not a Blake DeWitt special?
Mike Scioscia's tragic illness - the blog! For Dodger analysis, reviews, and hilarity.Uh, can someone tell the Dodgers they actually have to try and win and stuff?
doctyper.comlook at the bright side, Vin will be back wtih the team and more Dodger fans will on the stands including me! I'll be between 3rd and the Dodger dugout. I still remember when my friend and I went to SF and we clinched the WC there. There so much Blue there and I ran into VicenteRomo and his son.
Anyone here will be in San Diego?

Well, on the good side, I missed a goodly portion of this turd. On the bad side, I had to buy a new plasma television as my accuracy is pretty bad with an old remote. I intended to throw it at the wall, but drilled the screen a bit off center - nice smoky poof. So far, everyone is getting a good chuckle out of it. What really frosts me is that I get the same television and it is nearly $800 cheaper.
Herself enjoyed this way too much. Especially when I had to load the freakin' thing in her ride. She liked to laugh like a hyena. She told me this is my Christmas gift. I told her, "Fat freakin' chance!" Of course she had to call Paula at work and tell her the grisly details. I am sure I am now famous at UCSF.
I'll play the radio on Southern stations because Southern Belles are Hell at night...Wow! 3 and 4 in WA and Pitt. Nice effort!
The guy I feel terrible for is SamAdams. He made the effort to be in Pittsburgh to root on his team and hopefully see the clincher. Instead he had to sit thru 3 miserable games and 3/4 of the fourth. That sucks!
