Well, on the good side, I missed a goodly portion of this turd. On the bad side, I had to buy a new plasma television as my accuracy is pretty bad with an old remote. I intended to throw it at the wall, but drilled the screen a bit off center - nice smoky poof. So far, everyone is getting a good chuckle out of it. What really frosts me is that I get the same television and it is nearly $800 cheaper.

Herself enjoyed this way too much. Especially when I had to load the freakin' thing in her ride. She liked to laugh like a hyena. She told me this is my Christmas gift. I told her, "Fat freakin' chance!" Of course she had to call Paula at work and tell her the grisly details. I am sure I am now famous at UCSF.

See, grabs? You have to be more zen-like, like me. I turned off the sound, turned away from the tv and focused on the the computer, then would look over my shoulder, see the impossibly high score and go back to work. Once it was 5-0, I knew this team would be incapable of scoring 6 runs to make it interesting, but left the tube on in case of a miracle.

None forthcoming, I took a nap. That way, I was good and awake for the crap game I watched in Philadelphia, last night.

Taking bets on who will clinch first: Phillies or Dodgers? Phillies have the bigger stake in this: If they get caught by the Braves, they might not even MAKE the playoffs.

The Easternmost in Quality...the Westernmost in Flavor!!

I can't even spell zen. I am blaming this on lack of sleep. I didn't even get my nap. I must be the only person in the Western world who has an electronic salvage guy on speed dial. Busted tv is already gone and I am seriously considering wrapping all of my remotes in foam.

I'll play the radio on Southern stations because Southern Belles are Hell at night...

That's a great idea. Mary and the kids have them all over, upstairs and it has saved a few tv screens.
