Does anyone know where I can find a television feed video of the back-to-back-to-back-to-back home run game against the Padres from September 18th a few years ago? I've looked everywhere but can't seem to find it. I can't believe how much MLB guards their content. A fan can't even go back and watch a memorable moment without opening their wallet.

The only place I have found it is on YOUTUBE. If you contact the local news station that televised it you might be able to get it.

They show it on MLB Network periodically. I DVR'd it last time it was on.

I had it recorded on my DirecTV received, but the hard drive took a dump and the entire box became a large paperweight. If anyone happens to catch it on MLBTV's schedule, I'd like to be informed. Come to think of it, maybe we should have a thread devoted to upcoming Dodger related scheduling on MLBTV. I recently saw a nice segment on the 1959 season, and even though I'm old enough to remember that season from my childhood and that season was one of the cementing times of lifetime Dodger Devotion, there were a lot of things I learned about that team.

I caught the end of the game yesterday on MLB. Great comeback!!

If you didn't know, MLB Extra Innings is now available on DirecTV. First day to sign up was Feb. 18. It's $199, and you can pay up front, of $49.99/month for 4 months. Games start April 4!

If you subscribed last year, renewal is automatic. Not sure how DirecTV gets away with that, but my second year I called in to get the early bird rate and they said, "You're already enrolled", or words to that effect.

It's a great deal when you don't have to deal with blackouts. My blackout teams are the Astros and Rangers, which means only the Astros this year. Unfortunately, games televised on KCAL are not on the MLB EI schedule, so at best you end up with the opposition feed.

My only blackout on MLB Extra innings is the Snakes, but the local channel carries just about every game, so I'm totally covered. A couple years ago, they blacked out all the Padres games (we're 6 hours away!!!), but last year, they didn't. That was the only bummer - 19 games I missed due to that stupid rule.

When I lived in North Carolina, they blacked out the Braves AND Reds. Both were four hour plus drives from where I lived, so it didn't make much sense.

They only blacked out the Phillies back in NJ, but that was OK, since every game was broadcast locally. We got to see a fair number of Dodger games. Hoping the reverse is true out here.

You'll see just about every Dodger game, I imagine. For those of us outside LA, we don't hear Vin enough, due to KCAL not being a part of the MLB EI package. So we get the opposing team's feed on those days, and it often makes my ears bleed.

Darren Sutton and Mark Grace are equally awful. Drew Whats-his-name and his sidekick for the Rox are both tools, too. And need I mention the Pads crew?

All that said, however, the ChiSox guys are the absolute worst. They are fans who happen to have a mike. It's embarrassingly bad, and for the life of me, I can't understand why fans don't kick those guys out on their rears. Does any fan really want that?
