I'm glad that yesterday's game didn't have a thread. If we don't win these two from the Nats ... and actually lose a series out there, then we are officially in serious trouble.

No noise from the Dodgers in the top of the 1st.

Got a list of "honey dews" this morning, so I'll be in and out of this game. More in if I see the Dodgers doing anything.

    guys and gals,
i hate to bring this up. this is kind of a serious matter. worse than a missing pet or child even
Matt Kemp seems to have lost his glove. if any of you guys know the whereabouts, he would much appreciate it.
but seriously, have you guys noticed how wall/run/dive shy he has been? i've seen him shank more balls this season than in his whole career. pity

    Upon further review, ...

Matt still has his glove, but he has misplaced the user's manual.

Can someone teach Kershaw how to pitch to a FRIGGIN pitcher? He's making everyone else look bad, why does he continually walk and give up hits to pitchers. Sad.

Still a decent effort from him, although 100+ through 6IP is not acceptable for very long.

WHERE WAS XAVIER PAUL PLAYING!?!?!??! That was a routine fly-ball ... what was he doing so shallow and on the line? Friggin ridiculous.

cause why would you send Matt Kemp to steal in a tie game in the top of the 7th inning with a new catcher?
    crazy talk i know

Good day for Casey Blake, his 2nd homer puts the good guys up 3-2.

Free baseball, but so far, the Blue can't make contact.

Eh, unless that's the Sherrill of 2009 down there waiting to come into the ball game, this one's likely over.

3 quick outs for the Blue in the top of the 10th.

    Sherrill gets the Nats 1,2,3.

Kemp had to run there but man he is getting caught way to much this year.

Hard to believe Kemp has been thrown out stealing five times already with a full week left in April and can't catch a ball in the outfield. What the??

This is just the place you really want to have to use a Rule 5 player -- tied game in extra innings sudden death. Yikes.

When Monasterios bounced his first pitch in the dirt I thought the pressure might be too much for him but that inning was pretty impressive for the kid under the circumstances.

I am predicting a big knock from the X-man right here.

    You got my vote.

Amazing how the air went out of the offense as soon as Manny sat down.

Man, this is the NATIONALS we're facing. Talk about demorializing.

I can't bear watching Dunn in this situation.

whew. Nice job as the kid whiffs Dunn looking.

  21.  # 26

Fly to the wall ends the inning but still a mighty impressive job by a kid with only 2 games above A ball under his belt yet forced to pitch in a sudden death situation. With only Ortiz left in the pen, Joe might as well make this Monasterios' game to win or lose.

Come on Russsel, base hit gives us the lead.

That is what I am talking about.

Martin finally manages to get his third RBI of the season with a single to center. 4-3 LA.

    Russel stealing makes no sense?
