HELP A FRIEND OUT!!

Hi all! In case you haven't moseyed to the S&M thread lately, I have crazy news -- I'm one of five finalists in the running for a $10k trip for two to Chile this January, with the purpose of exploring all its wine regions. It's a contest held by Wines of Chile, and my essays landed me as one of the finalists.
Anyway, now it's up the public. Voting began TODAY, and whichever contestant has the most votes at the end of Monday, Nov. 1 (next week!) wins the trip.
This is TRULY a once-in-a-lifetime kind of thing, and it would quite literally be a dream come true. I'm Chilean, and this trip (which I would take my big brother on) is more than just about wine for me, although I do love Chilean wine and I'd be super stoked to get to spend 7 days tasting!

Never here anymore except to rib one who used my ask for prayers for my cancer to make some sort of point. Anyhows, I read about all contestants and Tamara you win hands down. I have emailed my friends and asked them to continue to vote. No way are they more qualified to win this than you are. Go Girl!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the guys I wasn't too worried about as far as competition, he's ramped up his efforts and I've seen lots of people getting behind him on Twitter. Yikes. Gotta make sure we send the right person to Chile. ;) -

No, I wish. :( It's a secret until next week, when the winner is announced. It will be announced publicly on Thursday, but I'm thinking they'll notify the winner before then...maybe as early as Tuesday.
I wasn't too concerned about the competition until today, when I realized the one guy who is in the top 5, he's a political activist in D.C. who is getting all his activist/political friends to vote.... If I lose, I will be sad, but I'll get over it -- as long as this guy doesn't win. Any of the other contestants deserves it more than him. Read his application, he knows nothing about Chile and put hardly any effort or thought into his itinerary. I'm sure he's a great guy, but I really don't want someone who doesn't even care about Chile to win this competition!!

Hey guys, it's time for me to harass you again! Please keep voting; we're halfway there. One of the girls I'm up against is now getting all her friends in her wine master's graduate program to vote (nevermind that she lives in France and you're supposed to be a U.S. resident, ugh...and nevermind that she can clearly afford a trip on her own, since she freakin' is in France studying, and just traveled to/from Vienna for fun), and I'm getting nervous.
I will have an aneurysm if I lose. You don't want that, do you?

Ok, finally got the PC running after being down a week. 1st thing I did was vote once with Google Chrome, once with Internet Explorer, and once with Firefox. I have been able to vote once per day with the wife's laptop. Good Luck!

In Firefox (and maybe other browsers, but I only use Firefox), if you hold down CTRL and click on a link a million times, a million tabs with that page will load. That's how I'm loading up like 30 pages at a time and then quickly going through each and clicking my name. This is a sick obsession at this point but I'm gonna give it all I got! No one will be able to say I didn't try my best, right? :D -
