Dodgers vs Bucs, TT vs Lincoln

Who cares about protected picks, I got the MOJO going!  No Lineups.  Kind of easy to rack up MOJO wins when you're 1st baseman kidnapped James Loney and put in the ghost of Steve Garvey for 2 games.

Can we call you Eric Karros from now on?
  • saeldway September 2011
Sure, as long as you're not a stalker, cuz EK and stalkers don't do too well together.

I'm good. I have my hands full stalking Salma Hayek.
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
Only takes Billz twelve pitches to strike out Tom Cruise.
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
    Triple for Meep!
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
    1-0 quick!
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
    BISON!  2-0, BLUE!
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
    Everybody is getting their cuts.
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
Sands singles home Loney.  3-0, Blue!
  • MatthewMatthew September 2011
    Just tuned in.

    THE BISON!!

Yep, he got all of that one.
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
Wow, Billz makes two good plays on defense.    I didn't even think he knew what the glove was for.
  • SamAdamsSamAdams September 2011
Vin said it!  The Dodgers are pitching Pedro Alvarez like he's Babe Ruth.

The other thing he said that is so true, "Gordon is fun to watch."  That was before he hit his triple.  Too bad his Dad was known as "Flash", because Meep is a flash when it comes to speed.
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
Damn, even Billz gets in the act.   Meep will need to hit a bomb to score Billz.

Yeah, Flash Jr. sounds too comic book.   Meep is the best of all options and it does make for some marketing opportunities.
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
I hope Meep was bunting for a hit, I would hate to think that Donny would be sacrificing in that instance.
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
Another rbi for Bison.  4-0, Blue!
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
Someone best go get Brad Lincoln before he runs screaming into the stands.

Hurdle comes to get the kid before he does himself an injury.
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
Two-run double for Loney.   He still sucks, just not as much.  6-1, Blue!
  • MatthewMatthew September 2011
    JERRY!!
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
    JERRY SANDS!  9-0, BLUE!

Suddenly, James Loney is the hitter we thought he would be.  Question:  Will the real JLo please...cross home plate on Sands' three run homer.

I am just thinking Loney is going for the Darren Dreifort Effect - look good for a couple months and get overpaid huge.   I mean, Malone was/is a moron, but I would hope that history doesn't repeat itself.
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
Gotta think that Hurdle is going to run a position player to the mound before this is over.
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
How about that, Billz manages to hold onto a big lead.   Always amazed that whenever he has a lead, he tends to lose it right quick.

The best JLo could possibly hope for is to be tendered a contract offer.  He basically scraped the bottom of production for all ML first basemen for a full season from mid-2010 to mid-2011.  And, I like him personally a lot, but that should be a fact of life in MLB.
  • saeldway September 2011
James Loney feels like a non-2004 august adrian beltre where the dodgers would have to pick somebody up just to light a fire under his ass. DFA must be quite the 2nd half inspiration for Loney.

Dilemma, do we let Meep run or not?

I think someone will offer him an incentive-laden contract for 2012.   Honestly, his best bet might be to resurrect his career in Japan, a la Cecil Fielder.
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
That was a sweet play by Cedeno.
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
Only a triple short of the cycle, now.
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
    11-0 on Bombo's single.
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
Aw, come on, Vin.  This is fun....for a change.
  • SamAdamsSamAdams September 2011
First time this season to score in double figures at DS.

  • MatthewMatthew September 2011
Vin's cracking me up, this inning.
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
Both outs in this inning have taken great plays to get the out.  Damn, if we were lucky, it could be uglier.

Vin may have to wax poetic by the fifth inning in his one.
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
Vin getting in some taunting at Steiner and Mo.
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
HOT BRUNETTE ALERT!   Right behind home in the second row.
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
Now, only Eddie Munster lacks a base hit.
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
    Nicely done, Meep!
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
    MVP!
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
Wow, that was almost over Sands' head.   Not going to get a steady gig that way, Blue.
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
Should be the third walk in a row.  12-1, Blue.
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
I think McCutchen could've rolled three balls up to the plate and Billz would've swung at each of them.

HOT BRUNETTE ALERT!   Right behind home in the second row.

Saw her and it looks like she's in McCour'ts box.  (No box jokes now, guys.)
  • grabarkewitzgrabarkewitz September 2011
Eddie Munster joins the hit parade.

    Giggity!
  • SamAdamsSamAdams September 2011
Now, while this may be the epitome of a laugher, why did Mattingly let Billz hit and then remove him in the top of the inning?

Then, it's a nice tribute to take Kemp out to chants of MVP after he took his position in the top of the inning, but he is a triple short of the cycle.

Howdy, Stranger!
