Good vs. Bad, Eveland vs. Vogelsong

No lineups yet.  After everything we've been through this year I wish we had a protected pick but the odds are looking slim.  Dodgers are 2.5 and 2 slots back from the 15th pick.  All on my mojo.

At this point, I am less worried about the draft because I don't see Frank having the money to sign a Type A - the Prince talk withstanding and now that we are over .500, might as well go for broke.    It is a testament to Donny that this team is even above .500 with all of the garbage players Ned provided for him.

This team started playing well when we got rid of all the Ned cash for clunkers, and started playing the young guys like Gordon, Sellers (not that he's tearing the cover off the ball), Sands, Eovaldi, Guerra, Rubby (before he got hurt), etc.

Same old story. Ned gets bailed out by the youth movement of the Dodgers.

That's why he shouldn't pick up any pitching in the offseason unless it is as a result of a trade involving Urine, Girlier, or Lilly.  With Logan's next set of boys: Withrow, Webster, Tolleson, Ames, McGough, and St. Clair (on top of RDLR in late Aug/Sept) he's got enough top flight young pitching to make it through the next year.  I can't wait though til he overpays for A-Ram and some other pitcher and his moves have to get bailed out by the 2013-2014 class of Gould, Lee, Baldwin, Pederson, Schebler, Dickson, and Wingo.
