Still wondering why Turtle is in the game? Torre has the brains of a challenged hamster.

My hamster didn't like that remark.

If for the next three years, Turtle plays 156 games or around that number, he'll have a short career and it'll be Joe Torre's fault.

Can you just enjoy a 10-1 lead and not worry about the next three years. Geez, no pleasing people.

Gonzalez the Elder grounds into the 6-4-3 DP. Middle of eight, 10-1, Blue.

So I think we have a theme going, after a big loss (or 8 of them in a row) we have Beags start the game thread and a victory is on hand.

Good game. Chad was lucky, but with all the runs he could have been unlucky and we still have the victory. Hopefully we can end this soon so Chad can rest until the playoffs.

Works for me, Tim. I pretty much stink, lately, on starting game threads.

My apologies to your hamster. I wasn't disparaging hamsters, but Joe Torre.

I know, I know. I just can't imagine how fatigued his body must be after having to crouch for so long 152 times this season.

Or is it 151? I forgot.

was I mistaken are did someone wish Juan would start to spark the lineup?

Well, Kemp did a great job. Leadoff walk and lead to a 6 run or so first. Then two hits. And, part of a throw out to second. Yeah for Kemp. Juan did get a pinch hit single.

Elbert punches out Hundley. One out. Looks like he can get away with a low nineties fastball. It looks like it moves more when he takes something off of it.

Macias grounds to Ozuna. Two outs.

Venable reaches on an infield hit. Looked like he was out, but what the hey.

Evening all. Looking toward to the final series in SF... Anyone have intentions of attending (Chris, that means you & ?)? I want to take the kid for one more SF victory lap! Perhaps any of the 'Crew' could meet for an ice cream (Ghiradelli at the yard) or a draft...

    Just a thought...

I have been trying for tickets, but as soon as it was mentioned, everybody wanted in. Right now, I am looking for ten tickets to Friday's game...so far, no good. But, if the Blue clinch, I think I could find ten tickets pretty easy. If all else fails, I will likely try to just get a couple tickets and take the kids. Right now, I would rather be in LA on Thursday, the way things are playing out, it looks like we will clinch then.

Saturday, taking all five of us to the Cal game against Colorado State. Kid is talking up Cal, big time. So he wants to see the campus.

Sunday, church thing going on, some kind of fall festival. Said I would make an appearance and do the auction thing.
