No one else around today???
Apparently not.
Wow...Kershaw in trouble already.
Yeah...this is gonna be a long game....
JamesMiranda:Apparently not.
Apparently everyone has lives but us. Sad.
Phew. Well for anyone curious, the Nationals loaded the bases in the top of the 1st, but Kershaw managed to get out the jam. Now in the bottom of the 1st, the bases are loaded with no outs and Andre up to bat....

Having a life is vastly over rated. It comes with responsibility, and that sucks.
Well, bases FOB, and Andre the great at the dish.
"I know, everybody funny, now you funny too."Hey, I had to watch Lost and the Bruins losing in OT to the stupid Hurricanes.
Mike Scioscia's tragic illness - the blog! For Dodger analysis, reviews, and hilarity.Welp, Andre grounds into a double play (meh), and Furcal scores, with Hudson advancing to 3rd. Now two out, with Loney up to the plate.

Yeah, seriously. Dodgers > Responsibility, any day.

That's what Tivo is for. Your priorities are incredibly skewed.
Aaand Loney strikes out swinging. So there's a big opportunity squandered, especially with how Kershaw is pitching so far....

I was getting our trailer out of storage so we can go camping this weekend. An RV sure is comfortable once you get where you're going and get set up. It sure is a big pain in the azz getting there. I almost long for tent camping.
Well we don't get much out of a bases loaded with no outs situation, but one run is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

I know. I watched the first two periods, then Lost while the third period was DVRing.
Mike Scioscia's tragic illness - the blog! For Dodger analysis, reviews, and hilarity.Evening all. Just got in from the kid's ballgame. Nothing like a bat-throwing, fist-flying, beanball war. Kid got hit by pitch three times and then got pulled for his own benefit. Luckily, the ump was bigger than him or I think he would've taken the pitcher's head off. Of course, the kid probably deserved the last two HBP's, he dropped a knee on a kid on a pick-off play and the kid had to leave the game because he broke his collarbone and on an attempted DP, the boy kind of blew up the shortstop into short center. Oh yeah, they won the game, 5-1.
I'll play the radio on Southern stations because Southern Belles are Hell at night...Kershaw looks pretty good to me, tonight.
I'll play the radio on Southern stations because Southern Belles are Hell at night...Vinny just pointed out that, despite Kershaw's shakey first inning, all four outs he's made so far have been strikouts. I didn't even notice, but...sweet.

You must've missed the 1st inning, then. But he got out of the bases-loaded jam, thankfully. Looks like he's calmed down a bit now, though. Phew!
Nice! Kershaw retires the side, and gets a couple more strikouts in the process.
I think that Kershaw's personal strike out record is gonna fall today.

I sped home from work today to make sure I could see the entire game. I really like Kershaw and I want to see him to do awesomely. Yeah, I'd like to see him top his strikout record today, too -- ALONG with a Dodgers win, of course.

Yep, doing the parental thing. I need to hire someone to watch the kid's game when they go up against the Dodgers. Priorities!

That goes without saying. I would feel great if they scored some runs for Kershaw.

The boy will understand!

Torgy, I've gotta get out and see one of your kid's games. They always are so entertaining.
Good to see Russ is waking up a tiny little tiny bit. He singles to start things off.
Are the Snakes still in town?
I'll play the radio on Southern stations because Southern Belles are Hell at night...Opposing shortstops have been very kind to us this home stand.
"I know, everybody funny, now you funny too."HAH Kemp hits a ball to shortstop Guzman-- should've been an easy double play, but he messed it up and now it's runners on 1st and 2nd, no out, and Casey Blake up.
